The Office of the Attorney General offers Identity Theft passports, a tool that can:

  • Help resolve financial issues caused by identity theft
  • Prevent wrongful arrest if your personal identifying information is used during the commission of a crime

How to Apply:

  • Download the application.
  • Complete the application thoroughly and accurately, following all provided instructions.
  • Include the following documents:
    • A copy of the police report related to the crime
    • A photocopy of your Maryland Driver's License or other State-issued identification card
