BALTIMORE, MD – The Independent Investigations Division (IID) of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General has identified the decedent and the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officer involved in the fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland.
The decedent is identified as 30-year-old Ryan Garcy of Cambridge, Maryland.
The involved officer is identified as CPD Corporal Jacob Weber, a 6-year veteran of the department. Corporal Weber is with the Patrol Division.
