Decedent and Officers Identified in Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting in Baltimore County

BALTIMORE, MD – The Independent Investigations Division (IID) of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General has identified the decedent and the Baltimore County Police Department (BCPD) officers involved in the fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Dundalk, Baltimore County, Maryland.  


The decedent is identified as 55-year-old Robert Adams of Dundalk, Maryland. ​​

The involved BCPD officers are Police Officer First Class Andrew Meyer, 6 years of service; Police Officer First Class Malik McLaughlin, 6 years of service; Police Officer First Class Austin Kiss, 4 years of service; Police Officer First Class Nicholas Cook, 3 years of service; Officer Mason Rice, 1 year of service; and Officer Luke Eubert, 1 year of service. All officers are assigned to the Operations Bureau.
