BALTIMORE, MD – The Independent Investigations Division (IID) of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General today released the body-worn camera footage from the fatal police-involved shooting involving the Maryland-National Capital Park Police (MNCPP), Prince George’s County Division that occurred on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Fort Washington Park, in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
The decedent was previously identified as 30-year-old Alex Charles of Fort Washington, Maryland.
